Annual Members Meeting

The Annual Members Meeting (AMM) is where PARSEC members gather to take stock of what we've accomplished, discuss where the organization is headed, and shape priorities for the year ahead. This is your opportunity to engage directly with leadership, vote on key decisions, and connect with colleagues invested in advancing PA scholarship in Canada.

Takes place annually virtually and in-person at the annual CAPA conference. Open to PARSEC members only.

 FAQs

  • The AMM is PARSEC’s yearly gathering where members review achievements, vote on organizational matters, and discuss goals for the year ahead. It’s also a space to connect with fellow Physician Assistants, educators, and researchers across Canada.

  • The meeting takes place each fall in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) National Conference. Members can attend in person at the conference venue or virtually through secure video conferencing.

  • All active PARSEC members in good standing are welcome. This includes Regular Members (certified or practicing PAs), Student Members, PA Educators, and Affiliate Members. Non-members may attend as guests upon request.

  • Yes. Registration confirms your attendance, helps us verify membership, and ensures you receive the correct Zoom link or in-person details. A registration link is shared by email.

  • If you’re joining online, you’ll receive a Zoom link before the event.

    Please log in 5-10 minutes early to confirm your connection and audio setup.

  • Regular Members, PA Educator Members and Student Members.

  • Meeting minutes will be shared in the Member Hub after the session. Eligible voting members who cannot attend may participate through absentee or electronic voting, in accordance with the PARSEC by-laws.

  • Yes. Members may submit proposals or agenda items by emailing admin@parsec.live

  • Attendance isn’t required, but active participation strengthens the organization. The AMM is your opportunity to help guide PARSEC’s direction, influence decisions, and engage with peers.
