Vote in the 2025 E-Poster Reader's Choice Awards
2025 PARSEC Reader’s Choice E-Poster Awards
The Readers’ Choice Awards celebrate the creativity, insight, and scholarly impact of PAs and PA students across Canada. Each year, members are invited to explore the full collection of conference e-posters and vote for the project that resonates most with them.
This year’s submissions reflect the breadth of PA leadership in clinical care, education, and research. Posters span three categories: clinical research, educational research, and case reports. As you review, consider how clearly each poster presents its purpose, methods, and real-world relevance to PA practice.
Virtual PA Shadowing: Transition to Practice
Join Us for a Grounded Start to Your PA Career
Step inside the real-world transition from student to practicing PA. This virtual shadowing session offers a clear look at how new graduates establish their role, navigate early clinical expectations, and build confidence in day-to-day decision making. You will learn what shifts between clerkship and independent practice, which habits carry you forward, and how to balance autonomy with physician supervision in a safe and sustainable way.
Through case studies led by recent graduates, you will sharpen clinical reasoning, strengthen interprofessional communication strategies, and explore practical approaches to managing uncertainty in early practice. The session is designed to support current students and new clinicians who want to enter the workforce with clarity and direction.
Participants will earn 1.5 Section 1 CME credits.
Questions may be submitted in advance to help ensure they are addressed during the session.
