E-Poster Presentations

E-Posters are digital research posters highlighting clinical research, case reports, and educational initiatives from PAs and PA students across Canada. Each year’s collection features work presented at the CAPA Annual Conference, reflecting the growing role of PAs in evidence-based medicine, clinical education, and research.

Call for E-Poster Submissions

Share your research with the PA community! CAPA and PARSEC are inviting PAs, PA students, and researchers to submit abstracts for the 2026 PARSEC–CAPA E-Poster Program.

Categories:

  • Clinical Research & Case Reports

  • PA Education & Health Systems Research

All accepted posters will be displayed at the 2026 CAPA Conference and on the PARSEC website. The top abstracts in each category will also be invited to participate in a moderated poster presentation session on Saturday October 24th, 2026.

E-Poster Requirements:

  • Single-page PDF

  • 16:9 landscape format

  • Maximum file size: 10 MB

  • Recommended dimensions: 13.333 × 7.5 inches

Authors are responsible for ensuring all content is accurate and free of spelling or typographical errors. No copy editing will be performed.

Submission Deadline: September 14, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EDT

Presenting an E-Poster is a great way to showcase your work, earn CPD credit, and contribute to evidence-based PA practice in Canada at CAPA’s Annual Conference.

All accepted posters will be displayed at CAPA’s Annual Conference, both in-person and virtually, and automatically entered into the CAPA’s Poster Awards as well as PARSEC’s Readers Choice E-Posters Award

Selection Criteria

All E-poster abstract submissions are reviewed using defined selection criteria for each category (Original Research, Case Report, or Educational Research). These standards ensure high quality and relevant submissions.

Abstract Submission Instructions

When the submission form opens, be sure to have the following information ready:

  • Author Name(s) (Including Credentials): List the full names of all authors along with their credentials (e.g., CCPA, PA-C, PhD, MD, etc).

  • Email Address: Provide a valid email address for communication regarding your submission.

  • Poster Title: Create a descriptive title for your poster that reflects its content.

  • Category: Select the appropriate category for your poster (e.g., Clinical Research, Case Report, Educational Project).

  • Abstract (500 words max) which should include purpose, materials/methods, results and discussion.

E-Posters Award

The Readers’ Choice E-Poster Awards highlight the creativity, scholarship, and innovation of Physician Assistants and PA students across Canada. Each year, members are invited to explore the submitted research posters and cast their vote for the project that inspires them most.

Voting takes place around the annual CAPA conference, with voting forms emailed to members before.

The winner will be announced during the PARSEC Awards Dinner at the CAPA Conference.
